
The municipality of Larnaca, which is normally open only on Fridays, will distribute food for the needy both for Christmas and the New Year on December 23 and 30, both Wednesdays.
On both days food will be handed out between 7.30am and 12.30pm for members of the local food bank of the Larnaca municipality.
“Beyond the usual food chicken, rice, pasta and potatoes, eggs, oil, kourabiedes, melomakaronia and wine will be distributed for Christmas. For New Year we will hand out pork souvlaki and ravioli,” the municipality said in a statement.
The distribution will take place at the premises of the Larnaca municipality food bank.
