A 22-year-old man was hospitalised with a head injury after his motorbike crashed in Larnaca on Sunday night.
The man, a resident of Xylotymbou, lost control of his large motorbike while riding on Artemidos Avenue and crashed into the roundabout on Tassos Mitsopoulos Avenue around 11.30pm.
He was taken to Larnaca general hospital by ambulance and diagnosed with a head injury and amnesia.
The 22-year-old, who wore a helmet at the time of the accident, was also subjected to a breathalyser test which showed that he was not under the influence of alcohol. s
He is being treated in the surgical department of the hospital.
