
A handbag with jewellery worth around €800 and €800 in cash was reported stolen on Saturday from a car in Larnaca.
According to the police, the car’s owner reported that the handbag was stolen from the vehicle between 4.50pm and 6.50pm while it was parked and locked in Agios Lazaros street, in Larnaca.
The owner reported that in the handbag, were the cash, credit cards, an identity card, two necklaces – one gold the other with diamonds – and a pair of diamond earrings. Police said that the perpetrators broke into the car after smashing the co-passenger’s window
