A 30-year-old has been arrested after running two people over after an argument in Larnaca, the police said on Tuesday.
Larnaca police spokesman Christodoulos Konsolos explained that the incident had taken place on Monday at around 5pm, with two men standing outside in Larnaca getting into a “heated argument” with one another.
“At some point, one of the men got into his car and, driving recklessly and dangerously, ran two people over,” he said, adding that both victims were then taken to the Larnaca general hospital.
Both people were given first aid and then discharged.
The man is expected to appear in court on Wednesday to be remanded.
