The 30-year-old man who was arrested after getting into an argument and running two people with his car was remanded in custody for four days on Wednesday.
Larnaca police spokesman Christodoulos Konsolos had earlier explained that the incident had taken place on Monday at around 5pm, with two men standing outside in Larnaca getting into a “heated argument” with one another.
“At some point, one of the men got into his car and, driving recklessly and dangerously, ran two people over,” he said, adding that both victims were then taken to the Larnaca general hospital.
Both people were given first aid and then discharged.
The police’s investigation into the matter is ongoing.
