Police charged a 27-year-old Larnaca resident for carrying a knife in his car early on Thursday morning.
The knife was found during a routine check that took place at around 1am.
Officers searched the vehicle and found a folding knife with a 6.5-centimetre blade under the driver’s seat.
The man was charged in writing and released. He will appear in court at a later date.
