A 23-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition at Nicosia general hospital on Monday.
Police reported that the young man was injured in Aradippou shortly after 4pm on Sunday, when he collided with a car driven by a 74-year-old man on Aristophanous Street, in circumstances under investigation.
The 23-year-old was seriously injured and initially transported by ambulance to Larnaca general hospital, where it was determined that he had a brain haemorrhage.
Due to the seriousness of his injuries, it was deemed necessary to transfer him to Nicosia where he was kept for treatment.
The Aradippou police station is handling the investigation.
