The temporary Green Point on Vassilis Michaelidis street in Larnaca will operate under adjusted summer hours from April 2 to September 30, the Larnaca municipality cleaning department announced on Thursday.
During this period, the Green Point will be open for solid waste disposal from Tuesday to Sunday, between 6am and 7.30pm, and will remain closed on Mondays.
The service is free of charge. For larger amounts of waste, Larnaca municipality offers collection and transportation from residents’ homes to the Green Point for a small fee. This service applies only to waste from private households and does not include waste generated by commercial or industrial activities.
