A nineteen-year-old woman is to appear in court on Thursday in connection with a vehicle theft in Larnaca, following her arrest overnight.
According to Larnaca police spokesman Spyros Chrysostomou, the woman was arrested at 9pm with a court warrant for her suspected involvement in the theft of the car, valued at €12,000, on February 19.
The car was later involved in a traffic accident on February 24, when it caught fire and was destroyed, while the occupants abandoned it.
The woman is expected to appear before the Larnaca District Court to be remanded.
